Sunscreen

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) - Dr. John Clay has advice for the best protection measure to help your skin - sunscreen.

The biggest problem with sunscreen is that we do not apply a thick enough layer to our skin for adequate protection.

Put on appropriately, a 4 ounce container of sunscreen should cover 2-4 whole body applications for the average adult.

The bottom line: it's not the SPF that you should be concerned with, it's putting enough sunscreen on that makes the difference.
