RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The daughter of former President George W. Bush made a stop in Richmond this weekend. Today Show correspondent Jenna Bush-Hager was the keynote speaker for the Noah's Children fundraising gala on Saturday.
Noah's Children serves more than 60 central Virginia families with children who have life-threatening illnesses. Hager says events like the one Saturday night ensure these families keep receiving much-needed assistance.
"It's really important that all children get the help that they need when facing illnesses that can be sometimes difficult," Hager said.
Saturday's event also included an art auction to help raise money for the program.
