Police release hit-and-run video WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The following is a press release from the Richmond Police Department.

Richmond Police detectives need the public's help to find and identify the driver who struck a pedestrian on Hull Street Road and left the scene.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, a man was crossing in the 1100 block of Hull Street near 12th Street when he was stopped to pick up something on the ground. That's when a vehicle struck the victim.

The 44-year-old male victim, who was thrown over the top of the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was able to get up and call police after the incident. The vehicle is described as black in color with a cracked windshield.
