Worker convicted of child sex abuse avoids jail time

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The VCU Payroll Director convicted of child sex abuse charges is avoiding jail time.

Martin Rengers was sentenced in Middlesex to five years in prison, all suspended as long as he stays out of trouble for the next 10 years.

The Middlesex Commonwealth's Attorney tells us Rengers inappropriately touched a 15-year-old girl during a camping trip.
