Bosses from Henrico-based LandAmerica could go on trial

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The bosses behind now bankrupt Transamerica are likely headed to trial this year.

A bankruptcy judge has ruled that the 20 former executives of the Henrico based company can go to trial based on a $365 million lawsuit.

That lawsuit claims the bosses breached their duties that led to its financial demise.

Among the executives that could go on trial: former chief executive Ted Chandler, former legal officer Michelle Gluck, and former VCU President Eugene Trani who was a director at the company.
