EpiPen bill passes Senate, heads to Governor's desk

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Some relief could soon be on the way the next time your child suffers from an allergic reactions.

The Times Dispatch reports that a bill to require all schools to have the live-saving EpiPens just passed in the Senate.

The bill was introduced after a Chesterfield County elementary school student died at school after being exposed to peanuts.

Now that bill will head to Governor McDonnell for a signature.
