PRINCE GEORGE, VA (WWBT) - Rolls-Royce considers expanding its manufacturing operations in Prince George County.
Governor Bob McDonnell says the global power systems company may build an advanced blade manufacturing facility at its Crosspointe site.
The 90,000 square-foot plant would employ about 140 workers.
Groundbreaking could happen by the end of the year.
Pre-production operations might begin as soon as 2014.
President Obama will visit the plant Friday to deliver remarks on the economy.
