RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - NBC News projects Mitt Romney has won the Virginia primary.
Polls closed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday with poor turnout statewide. Only two candidates, Romney and Paul, made the ballot. Others failed to gather the required number of signatures due in part to complex rules in the Commonwealth.
NBC News was able to project the Georgia Primary was won by Newt Gingrich. Vermont's race was still too early to call.
