NEWPORT NEWS, VA (WWBT) - An arrest warrant was issued for Marcus Vick Tuesday for failing to turn himself into jail on a contempt of court charge.
Vick was supposed to check-in Monday afternoon, but never showed up, a jail spokeswoman told the Daily Press.
The former Virginia Tech standout and brother of Michael Vick faces was stopped two years ago and charged with his second driving on a suspended license charge. After repeatedly missing court dates he was ordered to serve a 10-day sentence starting Monday. That sentence could have been reduced to 5 days, if he served with good behavior.
