ASHLAND, VA (WWBT) - Last year the Randolph-Macon men booked their berth in the NCAA Tournament by winning the ODAC Tournament. This season they had to wait until Selection Monday.
But the selection committee smiled upon the Yellow Jackets and rewarded them with an at-large bid.
R-MC will travel to The College of Wooster in Ohio where it will face Ohio Athletic Conference Champion Capital on Friday at a time to be determined. The host Fighting Scots (24-4) will take on Maryville (18-9) in the other contest.
Capital is located in Columbus, Ohio. The Crusaders are currently 18-9 overall and defeated Wilmington for the OAC championship on Saturday to earn an automatic bid to the tournament.
Randolph-Macon is 21-6 overall and this will be the third straight and 12th trip to the Division III Tournament for the Yellow Jackets program.
