Robbery suspect arrested

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) - Friday afternoon, police arrested 23-year-old Harry Brantley, Jr. in connection to an attempted robbery in Prince George County and a robbery in Hopewell.

Brantley has been charged with two counts of use of a firearm, malicious wounding and in an attempted robbery due to an incident that happened on February 10th in the 8400 block of Hines Road.

Two victims were attacked. One of the victims suffered a non-life threatening gun shot wound.

Brantley is also charged in a New Year's Eve robbery of a Hopewell McDonalds.

He has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm and possession of a firearm after being a convicted felon.

Brantley is being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond.
