Richmond, VA (WWBT)- The Central Region playoffs tipped off on both the boys and girls basketball court on Tuesday.  The top seeds were able to advance to second round action, which will be played Wednesday night.

Henrico 60, Douglas Freeman 49

John Marshall 72, Varina 46

L.C. Bird 63, Thomas Dale 40
