Hanover school board to cut 88 jobs

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Expect more severe cuts this year for Hanover County's School budget.

The Richmond Times Dispatch reports the school board adopted a revised $192 million budget. It voted to make up a $14 million deficit by eliminating roughly 88 full-time positions and slashing funding by more than 50 percent to the early retirement program.
