KING WILLIAM, VA (WWBT) - Drivers on Route 360 will be stopped by Virginia State Police Tuesday morning, as troopers, special agents and sheriff's deputies search for an armed robbery suspect.
The investigation stems from an incident at the Union First Market Bank in Manquin last week. On Monday, Feb. 13 2012 a man entered the bank in the 3700 block of Route 360, showed a handgun and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police hope drivers in the area will help them find the suspect, so they'll be out between 8:15 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. passing out fliers to eastbound drivers on route 360. The flier includes a composite sketch of the suspect, created through descriptions from witnesses and security camera footage.
