Towson's struggles do not deter Mason

Petersburg, VA (WWBT)- Frank Mason verbally committed to Towson last year, and the Petersburg senior has done nothing but prove that he has the talent to play on the Division I level.  While Mason is currently used to a winning culture, the Tigers struggle to get a victory, but that has not made the commit for next year even thing about changing his mind.

Mason told NBC12 on Wednesday that he remains committed to Towson and that he never considered changing his mind or gave it any second thoughts.  Mason is looking forward to getting into the program and being part of the turnaround, and is excited to join a new-look Tigers team next season that includes two Big East transfers.  With a loss to VCU, Towson fell to 1-25 on the season, 1-13 in the CAA.

This season, Mason has led Petersburg to a 21-1 record and a number one ranking the state AP poll.  The Crimson Wave locked up a Central District title with a win over Thomas Dale on Tuesday night and now set their sights on a district tournament win.
