RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A woman says she was robbed at gunpoint while babysitting two young kids.
Richmond police are currently looking for the suspects who got away with her purse.
When we spoke to the woman, she told us she's too scared to come out of her home after this armed robbery.
Fortunately, the two children she was taking care of weren't hurt in this crime.
The babysitter says she was looking after two kids on the 1500 block of North 31st Street near Nine Mile Road.
When she came out of the home to get into her car around 8:00 last night, she says two young males came up to her and demanded money.
They got away with her purse which had her ID, cash and credit cards inside.
She says one of the men threatened her by pointing a shotgun in her face.
This whole time, the two kids were in the car — one of them even has medical concerns.
Police say they've had no other recent crimes involving shot guns, but they are currently investigating the robbery.
