New images released in Richmond graffiti

Richmond Police released new surveillance video and images that they say shows vandals marking up the Lee Monument and stores on Broad Street.

The video shows a woman and two men walk up in front of the Quirk Gallery on Broad Street. You can see two serve as look-outs, while the other begins the graffiti. Moments later the two men swap roles.

The gallery also sent out photos from another camera that give a pretty clear look at the vandals.

"We are always grateful for surveillance video," said Richmond Police Det. Patrick Mansfield. "Many businesses have it and allow us to use it in our investigations. Anytime we are able to obtain it we are very appreciative."

At this point, police aren't sure exactly how many graffiti tags they can pin on the group, but they do believe they have discovered a trend.

If you recognize anyone in the video or photos contact Richmond Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
