Deadly motorcycle crash in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Police in Chesterfield are investigating after a man was killed in a motorcycle crash late Saturday night.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. In the 3800 block of Hamlin Creek Parkway. Police say it appears the motorcycle was drive off the road, into a metal fence.

Police tell us the driver, Frank Tyrone Nolan, was killed at the scene.

The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred in the 3800 block of Hamlin Creek Parkway. Police say that at approximately 11:15 p.m. on January 28th, a 2002 Honda CBR 900RR motorcycle was traveling West on Hamlin Creek Parkway when the motorcycle ran off the right side of the road and struck a metal fence. The driver of this motorcycle was identified as Frank Tyrone Nolan of Hamlin Creek Parkway. Mr. Nolan was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police are continuing their investigation into this crash.
