HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – Three men are now in custody in connection to a West End homicide.

Police say 26-year-old Montai Howard turned himself in to police Thursday.

Howard is a suspect in the January 18 homicide of 23-year-old Dreshaun Travis.

A second suspect, 23-year-old Daryl Jones was also linked to the murder. Jones was apprehended January 20.

A third man was also apprehended shortly after the shooting. 22-year-old John Phifer was found with wounds to the arm and head. Police say it is not yet clear if Phifer was involved in the homicide.

Police found Travis dead last week at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Quarter Creek Lane.
