Henrico man accused of shaking his newborn daughter

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A new father is facing assault charges in Henrico, accused of shaking his six-month-old daughter.

Police tell us this started as a domestic call last Saturday an at an East End apartment complex on Lakefield Mews Place.

A woman told police that she and 34-year-old Corey Spruill got into an argument, she said he choked and punched her then allegedly shook his daughter and threw her onto the sofa.
