RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A jury finds a Richmond man guilty in a murder that police say all happened over a Facebook posting.
It took the jury just 20 minutes to find Kareem Tillar guilty of second degree murder.
The 21-year-old shot 19-year-old Jamel Cobb last September.
Neighbors say Cobb wished a girl happy birthday on Facebook.
That girl was Kareem Tillar's girlfriend.
The Commonwealth's Attorney's Office says it is that posting that angered Tillar — leading him to shoot Jamel Cobb.
He died later in the hospital.
Cobb was headed to college on a baseball scholarship.
He was also a regular volunteer at the Boy's and Girl's Club.
Tillar is expected to be sentencing Tuesday morning at ten.
