Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – Police in Henrico County are searching for the suspect who robbed a pizza delivery driver early Sunday morning.

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Harvie Road, near Mechanicsville Turnpike.

According to police, the driver was attempting to deliver a pizza, when a car pulled up behind his. The suspect walked up to the driver's side window and reportedly stuck a gun in the victim's face, demanding money.

The suspect made off with the driver's cell phone, cash and even the pizza.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in what's described as a 1998 – 2000 model 4-door Lexus, believed to be dark brown, maroon or black in color.
