Three convicted in Louisa beating

LOUISA, VA (WWBT) – There's new information on a Father's Day beating that left a Louisa County dad severely injured. On Friday, three men were convicted in the case.

Authorities say last June, the men tricked the victim into going to a vacant home, then attacked him. The victim survived, but relatives say he'll never be the same.

One of the men, Chad Goins, got life in prison, plus 40 years in the case. Jason McDonald got 26 years.

The third suspect, a 17-year-old, will be sentenced in April.
