Kidney stones

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA (WWBT) - There are few things as painful as kidney stones, so when you get them you want to get rid of them as soon as possible.

Dr. James Bush has run into quite a few cases of kidney stones.

The first step is prevention.  Improve hydration and dietary adjustments can also help.  Some medical problems can increase the likelihood of kidney stones

The symptoms include pain in the lower back that can move to groin area, occasionally you can see blood in urine.

See your medical provider if you have difficulty urinating, blood in urine, lower abdominal pain, fevers, chills, nausea, or vomiting.
