Cross-dressing robber hits Richmond bank

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A man, wearing a fur coat, pink lipstick and a leopard print hat, robbed a Wells Fargo in Carytown Wednesday, according to Richmond Police.

Police say the man presented a note demanding money to a teller around 11:36 a.m. Wednesday then ran off.

He's described as a black male, 25 – 45 years of age, six feet two inches tall.  He was wearing a black full-length women's fur coat,  a fur brimmed leopard print hat, pink lipstick and sunglasses, according to police.

Police released pictures of the suspect to try and identify the man.

Anyone who has any information about this incident or this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens may also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous.
