Lindsay day-to-day with bruised knee

Richmond, VA (WWBT)- Cedrick Lindsay went down and was helped to the locker room during the second half of the Richmond basketball team's 76-65 win over Temple on Saturday and his status for the Spiders' game at George Washington on Wednesday is up in the air.

Lindsay had an MRI on Monday, where it was revealed that the sophomore guard has a bone bruise on his right knee.  He is day-to-day and whether or not he'll play in Wednesday's game will be decided that day by Lindsay and the coaching staff.

The sophomore has stepped up for Chris Mooney's Spiders this season.  He leads the team in assists (71) and steals (26), and is third on the team in scoring, averaging 12.6 points per game.

Richmond and George Washington tip off on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
