Man stabbed, abducted in Richmond's south side

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed multiple times and abducted in South Richmond.

Richmond Police tell us this all began around 11:00 p.m. Saturday when the victim was approached by three suspects on Jeff Davis. The victim was abducted and then left in the 3800 block of Terminal Avenue.

What isn't clear at this time is whether the victim was stabbed prior to the abduction, or during.  However, at last check, the victim was in stable condition.

Police tell us they're looking for a gray Escalade SUV with Virginia license plates.
