RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - What was first called in as a shooting in South Richmond has now become a homicide investigation.
Just before 9:00 p.m. Saturday, police found 21-year-old De'Shawn L. Mayo shot, lying in the street, in the 600 block of Woodhaven Drive.
Mayo was taken to VCU Medical Center, where Sunday morning, authorities confirmed he later died.
Right now, there are no suspects in custody, so police are asking for your help. Call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 if you know any information. You will remain anonymous.
