CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WWBT) - Issues with an internet service provider are hampering Chesterfield County's ability to provide normal services.
Chesterfield County government and Chesterfield County Public Schools are among several regional organizations affected by the Network Virginia outage, according to Chesterfield County officials.
The County hopes to have service restored by Friday afternoon.
Several services, from accepting debit or credit card payments to DMV Select services, were stalled by the outage. Others, such as issuing business licenses registering vehicles continued as normal.
The county is asking anyone planning to conduct county business to check with the department in advance. The county switchboard operator may be reached at (804) 748-1000.
