Contractor sentenced for helping inmate escape

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A defense contractor at Fort Lee accused of helping inmates he was supervising meet with prostitutes with, will spend months on house arrest.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Donald Grayson pleaded guilty to one count of assisting escape.

The U.S. Attorney's Office claimed that Grayson would allow prisoners to escape on numerous occasions to hotels near Fort Lee to meet these prostitutes.

He was sentenced Thursday to four years of probation and six months of house arrest.
