Statue stolen from Richmond Hebrew Cemetery

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A bronze, 20th century statue was stolen from the Hebrew Cemetery at the Congregation Beth Ahabah last month, according to Richmond Police.

The "High Priest" statue was taken between Dec. 8 and Dec. 20 from the cemetery on the 400 block of Hospital Street in Richmond. It stands 27" tall and was created by Lithuanian artist David Aronson.

 Anyone who has any information on this theft is asked to call Detective Patrick Mansfield at (804) 646-4996 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens may also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
