Two men suspected of stealing diamond ring from store

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Police are looking for two men they say stole a diamond ring from a store.

On Wednesday, the suspects, seen in the surveillance image, went to Kohl's at 11331 Midlothian Turnpike around 11:30 a.m. and asked to see a diamond solitaire ring.  After one of the men tried on the ring, he asked for a larger size.  When the clerk went to get the other ring, police said the man switched the solitaire with a three-stone ring.  The clerk confronted the suspect and he denied the switch.  When she called for the manager, they fled the store.

Anyone with information should contact Chesterfield County Police at 804-748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660 or text the code tip699 and send to 274637 (CRIMES).
