Walsingham to meet Henrico in Holiday Hoops Final

Richmond, VA (WWBT)- For the first time since 2006, the Henrico boys basketball team will play for its own tournament title.

The Warriors cruised past Monacan in the semifinals by a 92-57 score.  It marks the second straight night they've eclipsed the 90 point mark, and are averaging 94 points throughout their two tournament game.  Henrico will meet Walsingham Academy in Thursday night's championship game.  The Trojans have been defensively sound for their first two match-ups of the event, most recently topping defending tournament champion Collegiate, 63-23, in semifinal action on Wednesday.  Henrico and Walsingham Academy will tip-off at 7:15 pm on Thursday night on the Warriors' home floor.

Elsewhere, Benedictine will play in the Capitol City Classic final on its home floor.  The Cadets earned a 71-60 win over Bishop Ireton in Wednesday's semifinals.
