WILLIAMSBURG, VA (WWBT) - Williamsburg Police are asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest in an overnight triple shooting.
Police tell us it happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of York Street.
Three people were injured and taken to Williamsburg Sentara Hospital. Two of the three were treated and released, but the third victim was later transferred to Sentara Norfolk General for what's described as a serious head injury.
The cause of the shooting has yet to be determined, but police are now looking for a man seen leaving the scene of the shooting. Police describe the man as a 30-year-old black male, but say he's not a suspect at this time – only a person of interest.
