Frozen shoulder

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA (WWBT) - Dr. John Clay is treating a condition known as "frozen shoulder".

It includes pain in the shoulder with significant loss of range of motion and stiffness.  It is commonly seen in women age 40-60 and diabetics..

Things can get better with adequate stretching of the shoulder daily, anti-inflammatories, physical therapy, and an injection done by your physician.

It can lead to progressive loss of range of motion in the arm and shoulder.
