RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Police are investigating a downtown shooting, but they expect the victim to be okay.
Police tell us it happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, in the 1800 block of North 23rd Street.
We're told a 19-year-old man was shot multiple times in the pelvis and back. He was taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. However, police tell us his condition was briefly upgraded, but following surgery it is again believed he'll be just fine.
