Columbia Gas customers may see lower bills

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Columbia Gas customers in our area can soon see some lower bills in the mail.

Columbia tells the Times-Dispatch that customers can expect to pay 15 percent less for their winter natural gas bills than two winters ago.

You should see a total monthly bill of $120.

That's down from $138 in 2009.

You can thank lower wholesale natural gas prices for the lower bills.
