Thousands waking up without power after storm

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Thousands of people are waking up to power outages from Wednesday night's storm.

It looks like scenes from Hurricane Irene around Richmond; trees down all over the place, knocking down power lines and even blocking roads.

Fire crews were out putting up caution tape around power lines and some drivers had to turn around because the roads were blocked.

There were at least three reports of trees into houses but luckily no injuries.

Dominion Power is bringing crews from outside the area to help and those crews should arrive Thursday morning.
