Five teens arrested in Chesterfield tire slashings

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Police have arrested five people, including two juveniles, in connection to tire slashings in Chesterfield last month.

The tire slashings happened in the Stoney Glen subdivision on November 8, in the Ashley Forest subdivision November 9, and in Chester Village Green on November 20.  There were 39 victims and more than $32, 500 in property damage.

Danny L. Bucy, 19, of the 25000 block of James Avenue Dinwiddie, faces 27 charges including to commit a felony, breaking and entering, grand larceny and both misdemeanor and felony vandalism.  Bucy also was charged in a burglary that happened November 14 in the 2500 block of Mistwood Forest Drive.

Javon U. Anthony, 19, of the 2700 block of Mistwood Forest Drive, faces a total of 14 charges, including conspiracy to commit a felony and both misdemeanor and felony vandalism.

Tiffany L. Berry, 19, of the 3500 block of Chesdin Boulevard in Dinwiddie, faces three charges, including conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor vandalism.

The 17-year-old male faces a total of 20 charges, including conspiracy to commit a felony, breaking and entering, grand larceny and both misdemeanor and felony vandalism. He was also charged in the November 14 burglary on Mistwood Forest Drive.

The 16-year-old female faces four charges, including conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor vandalism.

Police believe these suspects are involved in a tire slashing that occurred in Colonial Heights last month.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
