CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Dr. Christy McLean is treating a condition known as fatty liver.

This is usually asymptotic and generally suspected after finding abnormal liver enzymes in blood work.

To help prevent it, maintain a healthy weight and monitor blood sugar with careful management of diabetes.

So far, studies have not identified any drug that has proven to be helpful for treatment.
