RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Dr. Eric Freeman is helping his patients with mycoplasma, a form of bacterial pneumonia seen commonly in school-aged children and adolescents.
It is often called "walking pneumonia."
Symptoms include mild illness and chronic cough, sore throat and a lung infection.
Mycoplasma is spread through the air. The best way to try and prevent it is to wash your hands well and sanitary hygiene.
