RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Chester native, and Miller School shooting guard Andrew White has made his college decision official. He announced the decision to go to Kansas on Friday afternoon at NBC12.
White is one of the top recruits in the country who had not signed yet for the upcoming season. Richmond, North Carolina State, Louisville and Virginia Tech were also among the finalists.
White began his career at Thomas Dale, but transferred to the Miller School outside of Charlottesville prior to senior season. He was able to reclassify as a junior, and as he bulked up he started getting national attention from recruiters.
Most national recruiting web sites have the 6'6" 210 lb shooting guard as ranked somewhere between #50 and #70 in the country.
