Virginia ranks poorly in child trafficking reports

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A new report ranks Virginia as one of the worst states when it comes to dealing with child trafficking.

Non-profit group, Shared Hope International, released the first ever state-by-state rankings.

The report says Virginia scored poorly because it doesn't have a human or sex trafficking law and provides law enforcement with limited options for prosecuting "buyers."
