LOUISA, VA (WWBT) - A former Louisa resident is facing up to 30 years in jail after being convicted Wednesday of growing marijuana.
The commonwealth's attorney said after receiving a tip, police found 129 marijuana plants growing in the garage and 215 drying in an upstairs bedroom in the home of Larry Turner, 39.
They also seized numerous lights and other manufacturing items.
Turner could get up to 30 years in jail and $10,000 fine. He is scheduled to be sentenced February 27.
