Apartment project in Carver approved

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Plans for a five-story apartment complex project in Richmond's Carver neighborhood are now moving forward.

The special permit for the plan got the thumbs-up from Richmond City council last night.

Developers will build the 406-bedroom apartment complex in the 1200 block of West Marshall Street, behind the VCU Siegel Center.

The Times-Dispatch reports construction could start in the spring, and could open in the fall of 2013.
