HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Dr. Patrick Woodward is dealing with wheezy and rattling coughs.
It feels as if you're trying to cough up a lung, but nothing seems to relieve the pressure in your chest.
Wheezy and rattling cough can occur with a headache and chest pain. Phlegm may also be present.
Drink lots of water and avoid caffeine unless it is followed by water. Mucinex and Robitussin are a little helpful, but avoid sudafed. If shortness of breath or fever occur, see the doctor right away.
