Man shot, killed in Richmond BP gas station

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A homicide investigation remains active in Richmond after a customer was shot and killed inside a south side BP gas station Friday night.

It happened around 8:15 p.m. at the station on the corner of Westover Hills and Belt Boulevard.

Police say 48-year-old Blaine Tyler was shot and killed following and argument with an unknown man, who followed Tyler in to the gas station.

A nearby clerk was not injured.

Police have yet to determine a motive and do not have a suspect description available at this time.
