Overnight house fire in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - We are following breaking news overnight on a house fire in Chesterfield.

Firefighters were called out to the 8700 block of Courthouse Road just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

This house is in a wooded area, not too far from the intersection of Courthouse and Ironbridge Road.

Right now, firefighters are looking into the cause of the fire — so far, no word on any injuries.

That area of Courthouse is closed right now, so slow down and look for detours if you're near the area.
