RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Be Thankful! By the time you see this commentary, Thanksgiving will have come and gone, but does that mean we should  stop being thankful. I know that Thanksgiving is a day for lots of turkey, stuffing and football, but it reminds me to remember to be very thankful for what I have. So what about you, have you taken the time to really think about the things you should be thankful for and more importantly have you taken the time to say thank you to someone who has made a difference in your life.

I believe that it is very easy these days to take some things in life for granted. All that we desire and all that we will receive, first begins with being thankful for what we already have.  Many of you have a life of abundance and you should be thankful. Many of you are not quite where you want to be, but you know where you want to go and you should be thankful. And some of you are not necessarily where you want to be and aren't quite sure where you want to go, you should still be thankful, because you have the ability to decide who you really want to be.

Some of you may be thinking that Thanksgiving was not a day for thanks and that you may not have anything to be thankful for, and I have to honor that. But I also believe that wherever you find yourself at this moment in time, be thankful anyway and then think about the person you truly want to be. So if you haven't said thank you lately to someone who has been meaningful in your life, stop what you are doing, call them now and tell them thank you. And if you don't feel there is anyone you want to thank or if anyone will be calling to thank you, here is your personal message from me. Thank you, thank you for listening!
