Boone issued citation from city for Occupy Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - New information about the Occupy Richmond protestors -- their days could be numbered in the mayor's neighborhood.

Raymond Boone, who is letting the group camp out on his front lawn, was issued a citation from the city for two zoning violations.

The violations basically say Boone is using his property for a way in which it's not zoned: by letting people camp on it.

Boone has 30 days to appeal to the board of zoning.

He tells NBC12 he'll work with his attorney and let Occupy Richmond stay put, until this is resolved.
